The Middle Stage under NEP 2020 covers Classes VI to VIII and is designed for learners between the ages of 11 and 14. At this stage, students move towards more subject-oriented learning while continuing to learn through experiential, interactive and practical approaches.
Our learning approach encourages students to understand concepts deeply, ask questions, conduct investigations, participate in projects and connect classroom learning with real-life experiences. The focus is on developing critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving, communication and independent learning skills.
In alignment with the vision of NEP 2020, students are encouraged to move beyond rote learning and develop conceptual understanding through experimentation, discussion, collaboration, projects and hands-on activities.
We support the academic and personal development of students through:
We provide an engaging and supportive environment where students can explore subjects, collaborate with peers and apply their learning through practical experiences.
During the Middle Stage, students are introduced to more structured and subject-oriented learning. Concepts are taught through practical experiences and interdisciplinary connections wherever appropriate.
NEP 2020 gives importance to developing skills alongside academic knowledge. We encourage students to develop practical abilities, communication skills, digital awareness and responsible decision-making.
Assessment is used to understand students' learning progress and identify areas where additional support may be required. We encourage continuous feedback and assessment through classroom activities, projects, practical work, participation and other appropriate learning experiences.
We follow a learner-centred approach that encourages curiosity, inquiry, collaboration and independent thinking. Through experiential learning and meaningful classroom experiences, we help students develop strong conceptual understanding, life skills and confidence for the Secondary Stage.
